UI/UX Service Senior (Contract)
Location: Brussels, Belgium Country: Belgium Rate: TBC
Collaborate closely with UX researchers to create wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs using our Figma design system. Present design concepts to stakeholders and communicate ideas effectively to Product Owners, UX Designers, and Developers. Facilitate ideation workshops and co-design sessions with business stakeholders, UX designers, and users. Define interaction models and evaluate their success using measurable criteria. Produce storyboards, user flows, and site maps to convey design ideas clearly. Contribute actively to broader UX Chapter activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years' experience in UI Design, Interaction Design, and Information Architecture in an Agile environment
- Strong understanding of UI patterns, design principles, and visual design
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Proficiency in design software (Figma) and collaboration tools (Miro)
- Familiarity with Elia Group design system
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving abilities and design process
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS, understanding how designs translate to code
Soft skills:
- Pragmatic, positive, and constructive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Autonomous, resilient, with analytical and synthesis skills
- Strong verbal communication, presentation skills, and empathy for users
