6 months with potential extensions
Hybrid working- 1 or 2 days on site per week in Edinburgh

With one of Lorien's top banking clients
- To work on the dataservices Legacy migration remediation programme
- Aim to modernise the database/storage platforms
- Working alongside Oracle ACS (advanced support engineers)
- Different data services eg Oracle (biggest) and SQL
- To supplement migration team
- Conduct experiments: Liquibase and Flybase (know how to start something from concept right through to execution on application side)
- Working knowledge of DevOps automation and tools like GitLab, TeamCity, Terraform, IaC, and Python
- Knowledge of the core principles and benefits of DevOps, and knowledge and experience of software engineering and or IT Operations
- Experience of working within a governed or regulated change framework
