Power BI Administrator: 6 months: Insurance Experience: Inside IR35 (Contract)
Location: London Country: UK
 

I am currently on the lookout for a Power BI amin for an insurance client of mine.

They are looking for multiple resources that have previous experience in the insurance space and with experience in the following:

  1. Install and monitor data gateways application on new VMs on MPI tenant. Work with the appropriate Cloud & IAM teams to get this done.
  2. Capture Power BI inventory and identify project teams/owners of all our datasets, data gateways, and reporting solutions.
  3. Capture all the data gateway configuration details ie server name, DB name, login details.
  4. Create a UAT/Testing plan to test each Power BI reporting solution with the necessary reporting project teams using the new data gateway connections.
  5. Create all the new data gateway connections on the VMs hosted on the MPI tenant.
  6. Clean up user access to all data gateways using AD Groups instead individual named users.
  7. Work with individual teams and track testing of each reporting solution. Create a project and tracking log.
  8. Set up the new VNET connections (instead of on-premise data gateway connections) for all Cloud connections.
